The molding of choice could be any of the following; plastic, metal, wood, or ceramic trims.
Preferrably the area should be smooth and flat. Contact the Tilefather if otherwise.
Although this demonstration cites a chair rail height, this method would include installations as a Valance , door and window frame, baseboard , tub surround, or any issue that requires an added touch of beauty.
Choose a molding such as a 3/8" cap, in either plastic,metal,or wood.Be sure to install as a bottom rail with cap facing upward. Fasten with nails, screws, etc:
Measure and mark amount of tiles needed to complete. Cutting is eaily done with a hand cutter.
Measure by planning ahead to avoid small cuts.

The top cap is slipped over the exisisting border tiles.
Wow! Think of the possibilities. Contrasting paint either bottom or top.
One could lead this pattern around doorways and windows. Baseboard could be a possible choice. Or perhaps as a room valance. You can hang a Listello anywhere!
